So this is Kayla.
Smart. Loyal. Pretty. Lonely. Somewhat naive.
The good girl in comparison to her twins bad boy image.
She's recently returned from attending Stern School of Business in NYC with her brother Neil. While he partied and had the time of his life in the big city, she spent a lot of her time studying and working. She graduated with an MBA and has now returned to Cape May to learn the family business as dictated by her father. But its not really what she wants to do. She sometimes gets tired of the expectations and responsibilities laid on her. The family's image is the most important thing to her, so she accepts whats expected of her. Her relationship with her brother is very close, as twins often are. They might fight a lot, but she will defend him and the things he does to anyone who puts him down.
She was the quiet one in school, and had only a few truly close friends. Even though Neil tried to include her in his circle of friends, she never felt completely comfortable with the wild antics of the group and usually felt like an outsider when she did hang out with them. Away from home in NYC, she felt extremely lonely and found it difficult to fit in sometimes, although she did make a few good friends. She values the friends she does have, and goes out of her way to help them.
"Never been kissed" isn't exactly accurate when it comes to describing Kayla, but its pretty close. She rarely dated in high school due to her shyness, even though she had her share of guys interested. When she went away to school, she got involved with another student and fell in love. But the relationship ended badly when she found out he was only interested in her family's business. It left her wary of trusting other men even though she longs for a real romance in her life.
She doesn't have any enemies that she knows of. Unless you count the girls from school who used to make fun of her for being like she was.
